As far as i know there is no name yet for the loose connective tissue that forms the lateral demarcation of the rectovaginal fossa and the medial demarcation of the pararectal space. This tissue is perforated to access the pararectal space from the vagina in order to identify the sacrospinous ligament in the sacrospinous ligament fixation procedure.
