The American Association for Clinical Anatomy (AACA) organizes the reviewing of items on this site. Structures/concepts are reviewed, based on the following criteria:

• The definition should accord with the generally understood definition for the concept's primary term.
• The definition should conform with the algorithm for definitions for this specific type of concept/structure (eg blood vessels, bones, ligaments, etc.), as developed by the Clinical Anatomical Terminology Committee of the AACA.
• Possible Foundational Model of Anatomy Ids are correct for this concept.
• The properties are correctly set.
